From Bubblegum to LBD Georges Chakra Hit the Mark

Georges Chakra definitely woke me up this morning with his bright colors at his 11AM show. The show started off with bright yellow and bubblegum colored dresses which were surprisingly tasteful. He continued to impress with his many different lengths and interesting choice of colors. My jaw dropped when a model in a little black dress came strutting down the runway. It was a staple dress that needs to be in closets around the world. 

What was unique about Chakra's collection this year was the "open stap." The sleeves of some of the dresses were being held by a flesh colored straps giving the illusion that the fabric was merely staying in place right over the shoulder. It made his straps have a "magnetic" look.

 Overall, the way Chakra went from Red Carpet to a Friday Night made for a great Spring line.
