Nicole Wins the Disco Ball

After three hours of watching Dancing With The Stars Nicole Sherzinger took home the disco ball trophy. She is an AMAZING dancer but I kinda wanted Erin Andrews to win because she has nothing to do with performing/dancing and yet was really great. What do you think?

So I just finished reading Kelly Cutrone's book, "If You Have To Cry Go Outside: And other Things Your Mother Never Told You," and I must say....I LOVED it. It was so great, I read it in two days. It starts by saying that her dream wasn't to be a publicist, her dream was to be in NYC. Later in life she found her calling and fell into the right hands, but the overall message is that life is what you make of it. If you have a dream-follow it. Even if you find yourself on your ass, at least you can say you tried and move on to the next dream. I'm a big believe in that and the fact that you can choose your own destiny no matter what path you decide to take. It's a feel good book-trust me you'll like it.

And The Plot Thickens...

 A few weeks ago I posted this story up and here it is May 24th and the only suspect in the case has gone missing.....IN MEXICO!
 "Our greatest fears about the investigation being conducted by the Mexican authorities were realized. For over a month, we have patiently waited for the Mexican authorities to take some action with respect to their 'only suspect'. We have now learned that he is missing. If Bruce Beresford-Redman has nothing to do with her murder, why would he be running." Monica's family stated.


Karma's a bitch Bruce....you'll get what's coming to you.

UPDATE: He's been found in Santa Monica, CA. He somehow managed to cross the border without his passport. hmm...

Since I'm missing out at the Dave Matthews Concert this weekend I figured I'd post a little something. Let's hope I'll be 'So Damn Lucky' in VEGAS!!

LC Writes About Fashion

LC's new book, "Style" just released it's cover. (Book is not actually going to be released until October 5th!) What do you think of it? I'm not really liking it though I know I'm still going to read it. I'm not judging this book by the cover....

Ok this show was really bad but I still watched it every tuesday! (yeah, I did.) But Life Unexpected got picked up!? I tried to watch that show and I couldn't do it. The girl is cute and her dad is a total hottie but it was the same show over and over again. Hey CW, PICK UP MERCY!!!!!!!

I thought she was the first? They took it back? What is with research these days! Everyone is so quick to write up a story that no one checks the facts anymore. If you don't believe me-read the NY Times today. Front Page news Blumenthal lied about being in Vietnam and we didn't know it was a lie until NOW?! I"m going to start telling everyone I'm a supermodel.....let's see how long it is until someone calls me out on it.

Did You Watch Gossip Girl

Yes, I still watch Gossip Girl and it's mainly to drool over the fact that Blake Lively can literally wear anything and make it look good. Though I did not expect that ending!!! SPOILER ALERT: My Chuck Bass gets shot!!! Do you think they will really kill Chuck Bass??? I don't. But if they do then I'm boycotting it like I did Grey's Anatomy when they killed off George. NOT OKAY!

Mercy: TV Show Cancelled by NBC; No Season Two

At the start of the season, we wondered which new NBC medical drama had the best chance at survival — Mercy or Trauma. It was hard to decide but now, they’ve both been cancelled anyway.
Mercy follows the lives of three very different nurses at Mercy Hospital in Jersey City. The cast includes Taylor Schilling, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Michelle Trachtenberg, James Tupper, Diego Klattenhoff, Guillermo Diaz, James LeGros, James Van Der Beek, and Delroy Lindo.
The medical drama got off to a pretty poor start last September, attracting a 2.3 rating in the all-important 18-49 demographic and 8.25 million total viewers. Unfortunately, viewership fell even lower from there.
Despite the ratings, NBC ordered a full season of episodes, likely because the network needed the original programming. Though NBC’s Primetime Entertainment President Angela Bromstad said she liked the show creatively, she noted that the show’s ratings had to improve for it to survive.
The ratings didn’t improve. The most recent episode attracted only a 1.1 rating in the demo and 4.01 million viewers.
To no surprise, the Mercy TV show’s now been cancelled. The 20th and final episode aired last Wednesday, May 12th. Unfortunately, it wasn’t intended to be a series finale and didn’t wrap up the show.

I am in tears over this! This was my most FAVORITE show. It was well written and funny and HELLO the season finale was intense! Can we petition to bring it back!?! Can someone else pick it up? In a world where there are all trashy reality shows there finally came a sitcom with wit and intrigue and they cancel it after one season?!? Outraged...
